Chris was born and raised in Nottingham, England and was first introduced to dance music through regular trips to Cream, Club U.K., and Atomic Jam. It wasn't long before he bought a pair of cheap decks and a mixer and spent his time when he wasn't out clubbing, holed up in his bedroom honing his DJing.

Chris chalked up some valueable experience playing occasional house parties in bars and clubs in Wolverhampton and Liverpool in the early 1990s whilst studying a Biomedicine degree before moving to Prague in 1996 in search of the Bohemian lifestyle and further DJing experience.

After spending his first few months in the city giving out demo tapes and playing all-night sets in dingy bars for the price of a taxi home his talent was noticed by promoters Lighthouse who booked him to play some of the largest and highest profile events in the country at the time alongside such names as Dave Clarke, Darren Emerson and Paul Oakenfold.

It wasn’t long before Chris‘ reputation spread outside of Prague with booking requests arriving from throughout the country. To date Chris has travelled hundreds of thousands of kilometres criss-crossing the Czech Republic to present his sound to eager clubbers. Not content with merely DJing Chris headed the Prague branch of British legend Eddie Richards’ dy-na-mix DJ booking agency and threw a number of sell-out one-offs.

This experience was to prepare Chris well for Climax – Chris’ monthly residency at top Prague club Roxy which he started in November 1998. He still resides over Climax to this day to what is often a capacity crowd. The night that British Mixmag magazine described as “the epicentre of a healthy house scene (in the Czech Republic)” celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2023, making it the country’s longest running club night. Chris has invited to guest with him at Climax a great many big name artists such as Laurent Garnier, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, Todd Terry, Chris Lake, Eli Brown, Umek, Joris Voorn, Sonny Fodera, Antoine Clamaran, Olav Basoski, Prok & Fitch, Crazibiza, Hoxton Whores, Hatiras, Abel Ramos, My Digital Enemy, Sonny Wharton, Ashley Beedle and many more.

In 1999 he made his first forays into music production and the following year saw the vinyl release of "2 Fukt 2 Funk" on Beeswax Records, which, similarly to his official mix CD on Next Era, went on to sell out every last copy. Inevitably, this wasn't to be Chris' last time in the studio and he has continued to release and licence a steady stream of tracks and remixes for numerous labels throughout the world such as Subliminal, Warner, Kontor, Monoside, Whartone and many, many more. Along the way his tracks have picked up support from artists such as Erick Morillo, Sebastian Ingrosso, Don Diablo, Lost Frequencies, Kryder, Joachim Garraud, Wawa, Black Legend, Freejak, Nick Fiorucci, Henry Hacking, Hutch, K69, Olav Basoski, My Digital Enemy, Sonny Wharton, Alex Kenji, Robert Feelgood, MC Flipside and the Flash Brothers as well as radio stations globally. Supplying music to Czech state television and being commissioned for remixes for everything from heavy metal and pop bands to solo singers and techno artists have helped Chris’ development as a producer.

In 2014 Chris founded his own record label – Climax Digital Recordings – which has given him not only an outlet for his own music but also that of other talented producers he has met on his travels.

Having contributed music and lyrics to the album ‘K.I.D.’ by popular Czech band Support Lesbiens, in 2016 this album went on to win a prestigious ‘Andel’ award for rock & pop album of the year.

Chris is no stranger to the media having given countless interviews for TV, radio, magazines, newspapers and websites worldwide. Previously Chris co-hosted shows on Czech radio stations Fajn, Radio 1, Vox, Kiss and Fun One but since 2010 has his own fortnightly Sunday evening show on Dance Radio fm, again under the Climax name.

Over the years he has consolidated his position as an indispensable part of the Czech dance scene headlining events up and down the Czech Republic and as far afield as Japan, UK, Croatia, France, Ukraine, Germany, Poland, Austria and Slovakia. At home in the Czech Republic he is undoubtedly regarded as one of the top house DJs in the country. With over 100 bookings each year and plenty of experience of playing for crowds of over 10,000 people there’s few clubbers in the country that haven’t danced to a Chris Sadler DJ set at some point over the years and to many he has become a taste-maker and an icon. His personal highlights include playing in a Tokyo skyscraper, inside the spectacular Prague national monument, packed gigs at Mayday and repeatedly at Creamfields or playing alongside such legends as Carl Cox, The Chemical Brothers, David Morales, Derrick May, Sasha, Kraftwerk, Bob Sinclar, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx or Deep Dish.

Having established a faithful following, Chris' powerful house sound is now more in demand than ever before.

Chris Sadler, který narodil v anglickém Nottinghamu, se poprvé setkal s taneční hudbou při svých pravidelných návštěvách klubů Cream a Atomic Jamu. Zanedlouho si domů přinesl 2 levné gramofony s mixážním pultem, a pokud zrovna nebyl v klubu, piloval v ložnici svůj DJing.

Cenné zkušenosti získal už na začátku devadesátých let, kdy měl během svého studia biomedicíny na univerzitě možnost si příležitostně zahrát v barech a klubech ve Wolverhamptonu a v Liverpoolu. V roce 1996 se přestěhoval do Prahy, aby poznal český životní styl a nabral další DJské zkušenosti.

Prvních pár měsíců v Praze Chris distribuoval své demonahrávky všude, kde se dalo, a noci trávil hraním v zašlých barech za cenu taxíku domů. A v této době to všechno začalo. Všimli si ho lidé z agentury Lighthouse a nabídli mu hraní na tehdejších největších a nejprestižnějších akcích v zemi, kde si mimo jiné zahrál po boku takových jmen jako Dave Clarke, Darren Emerson nebo Paul Oakenfold.

Netrvalo dlouho a Chrisova pověst se rozšířila i mimo Prahu. Nabídky na vystoupení přicházely i z ostatních koutů republiky. Ke dnešnímu dni Chris procestoval stovky tisíc kilometrů napříč celou Českou republikou, aby ukázal své umění dychtivým kluberům. Nespokojil se s pouhým DJingem, převzal pražskou pobočku bookingové agentury dy-na-mix pod záštitou britské legendy Eddieho Richardse a uspořádal hned několik veleúspěšných pražských halových akcí.

Tato zkušenost pro něj byla dobrou průpravou na Climax – Chrisovu měsíční rezidentní noc v předním pražském klubu Roxy, která odstartovala v listopadu roku 1998. Climax funguje dodnes a často je narvaný k prasknutí. Noc, kterou britský časopis Mixmag popsal jako „epicentrum zdravé house scény v České republice“, slavila v roce 2023 dvacáté páté výročí, a dělá ji tak nejdéle fungující klubovou nocí v historii české taneční scény. Jako hosty si na Climax pozval celou řadu umělců znělých jmen - Laurent Garnier, Roger Sanchez, Mark Knight, Todd Terry, Chris Lake, Eli Brown, Umek, Joris Voorn, Sonny Fodera, Antoine Clamaran, Olav Basoski, Prok & Fitch, Crazibiza, Hoxton Whores, Hatiras, Abel Ramos, My Digital Enemy, Sonny Wharton, Ashley Beedle a mnoho dalších.

Roku 1999 byl Chris zasvěcen do hudební produkce a následující rok vydal svůj první singl na vinylu „2 Fukt 2 Funk“ na Beeswax Records, kterého se podobně jako jeho oficiálního mix CD na labelu Next Era vyprodaly všechny kopie. Samozřejmě že to nebylo naposledy, kdy trávil Chris čas ve studiu, pokračoval s vydáváním a remixováním tracků pro mnoho labelů po celém světě, jako například Subliminal, Warner, Kontor, Monoside, Whartone atd. Během této doby jeho tracky získaly podporu od umělců jako Erick Morillo, Sebastian Ingrosso, Don Diablo, Lost Frequencies, Kryder, Joachim Garraud, Wawa, Black Legend, Freejak, Nick Fiorucci, Henry Hacking, Hutch, K69, Olav Basoski, My Digital Enemy, Sonny Wharton, Alex Kenji, Robert Feelgood, MC Flipside a Flash Brothers, stejně tak od rádiových stanic po celém světě. Svou hudbou zásobuje českou státní televizi, dostává nabídky na remixy, a to nejen od producentů a sólových zpěváků, ale třeba i heavy metalových a popových kapel. To vše mu pomáhá vyvíjet se i jako producent.

V roce 2014 Chris založil vlastní label – Climax Digital Recordings, který mu dal odbytiště nejen pro svou vlastní tvorbu, ale také jiným talentovaným producentům, se kterými se setkal.

Hudbou a texty Chris také přispěl do alba "K.I.D." známé české kapely Support Lesbiens, které v roce 2016 vyhrálo prestižní cenu "Anděl" za rockové a popové album roku.

Chris rád spolupracuje i s médii, poskytl již nespočet interview pro televizi, rádia, časopisy, noviny a webové stránky po celém světě. V minulosti se podílel na vysílání v českých rádiích Fajn, Radio 1, Vox, Kiss a Fun One. Od roku 2010 uvádí svou vlastní rádiovou show na Dance Radio fm každou druhou neděli v měsíci, opět pod názvem Climax.

Za ta léta si upevnil svou pozici a stal se nenahraditelnou součástí české taneční scény. Jako headliner hraje na akcích napříč celou Českou republikou, ale i v zemích vzdálených, jako je Japonsko, Velká Británie, Chorvatsko, Francie, Ukrajina, Německo, Polsko, Rakousko a Slovensko. Doma v České republice je nepochybně považován za jednoho z nejlepších house DJs v zemi. Každým rokem má více než 100 bookingů a bohatou zkušenost s hraním pro desetitisícové davy lidí. Není zde mnoho kluberů, kteří by ještě netančili na DJ set Chrise Sadlera v průběhu let, a pro mnohé z nich se za tu dobu stal ikonou a taste-makerem.

Mezi výjimečné momenty jeho kariéry patří hraní v mrakodrapu v Tokiu, uvnitř velkolepé pražské národní kulturní památky, na Mayday v Polsku, opakovaně na Creamfields nebo hraní po boku takových legend jako Carl Cox, The Chemical Brothers, David Morales, Derrick May, Sasha, Kraftwerk, Bob Sinclar, Armand Van Helden, Basement Jaxx či Deep Dish.

Chris si za léta na české scéně vybudoval věrnou základnu fanoušků a především díky svému nezaměnitelnému stylu housové muziky je žádaný víc než kdy předtím.
